The following information applies to the Kiel Canal, Kiel Fjord, Flensburg Fjord and related ports and berths.

Reporting time: Minimum 2 hours before ETD. Allow additional travel time for berths not close to Brunsbüttel Pilot Station.

Reporting time: Minimum 12 hours and again 5 hours before arrival at the boarding position. If the voyage from a nearby port is shorter than 12 hours, order before departure.

Pilot Order – Lübeck District
The following information applies to vessels bound for Travemünde, berths on the River Trave and Lübeck.
Incoming from sea
Destination: Berths at Travemünde and/or Lübeck
Boarding area: Trave Fairway Buoy
- Report ETA at least 12 hours before arrival at Trave Fairway Buoy.
- Confirm the exact ETA by VHF 2.5 hours before arrival.
- Vessels over 60 m LOA, over 10 m BOA, and vessels carrying dangerous goods must report by VHF when passing Trave Buoy, stating vessel name, LOA, BOA, GRT, pilot drop-off position and any pilot exemption certificate.
